CEQA Evaluation

This case is based on whether the requirements of the CEQA were met or not.
In the following statement the clearly states his opinion as to whether these conditions were met, or not.
“From a CEQA standpoint, whether Mr. Ciachurski is genuinely committed to follow through and bring this water and it is a firm commitment from a CEQA standpoint, it wasn't evaluated,” the judge said. “And so whether it is or isn't, we don't really know. And the whole point of CEQA is to have some sort of genuine, real evaluation of how firm of a commitment this is or isn't, so that it's a transparent process.”

From a CEQA standpoint the evaluation was not met.
Period.

I'm glad you can rule on this case so easily Shneps,  why didn't the judge?
Comment by shneps on May 04, 2024 10:54am
Two things Lunderk. 1. The judge needs to review counsels answers, he needs to make a decision, then he needs to write an opinion based on his decision and how he came about the decision. 2. My review and opinions are based upon my observations of what was presented, followed by my saying we need to wait for the judges final decision.

Grb is pretty quiet after the hearing ..

They won't say anything until they have to, and that will only be when the judge makes a ruling. Even then, there is an equal chance that Claudia will get the news out before GRB. JMO

I would expect a pointless NR tomorrow morning to distract you from what is actually occurring. Again, it is in the hands of the judge.

Claudia has had her say, so the ball is in Jeff's court. But there was nothing material, yet, so spending money on a NR would be a waste of shareholder money.
