NEWS ALERT!!! BROKERAGES: Say No to shorting MJ space.

WOW! Qtrade, ScotiaItrade, et al will no longer short MJ stocks. No reason was given.

Just call your Brokerage, or better yet call this number: 1.877.787.2330 for qtrade and ask them one question: Do you allow shorting for MJ stocks?

They no longer allowing shorting for MJ stocks.

Its a new trend, that other brokerages are beginning to catch hold. Spoke to Regional Manager at Qtrade. They will not allow shorting for the MJ space and says other institutions will be following suite.
