I agree These guys have really messed up again just like they did a couple of years ago when they had a great resource and ran out of money they had to walk away from that one and it looks more and more like investors here are going to get left holding the bag again terrible management they have only one job to do and that is to make a deal and finance this company with money] Still waiting for ...more

I do not agree at all. Instead, I'm sure Dunham does a great job. In the current environment every idiot can get financing by paying 30% effective interest rate for a first class asset like this. This translates into $240 million for the first two years plus about $180 million in the next 2.2 years until full payback. That would leave NPV $421 - total interest of $420 million = $1 million ...more

Agree StocksLynx. I'm surprised investors are blaming Dunham for the gold prices which is essentially what they are doing. I guess they could move to another stock issue and just ride that out. Would that be any less painful? There's always FB stock.

U are smoking your lunch?  My comments have nothing to do with the POG which in case you havent noticed, isnt materially different than last fall when I entered the stock.  At that time, Dunham was generating press releases about how phenomenal the economics of this property was and how a financing deal was expected at any time.  Its all turned out to be BS. We we sit and wait for ...more

My turn? My bottom? Listen here young man, I am in no way responsible for the predicament YOU find YOURSELF in. Don't come out with an insult and then cry to everyone on the board that someone else has a nice big sucker but yours has dirt on it. If you don't like the company or management take your money and invest in one of these companies "with a rise". Dunham doesn't ...more

Finn: Has Dunham been responding to your emails/calls recently? Historically he has been very good at returning my emails and responding to questions but recent attempts at communications have gone unanswered. With the recent price weakness and huge ask walls currently building at .06 and above I smell another financing. Hopefully I'm wrong. Cheers, El Joro

I haven't felt the need to contact him so have no comment there. I can only imagine though that he's tired of responding to the same old tired and negative emails. Gold basing like it is for nearly a year now may give financiers some confidence to be more amenable to a deal. Should we cost average now?

Thanks for the thoughts, Finn. Re: Averaging down: I'd consider adding to my position in GIX when a) I get a clearer idea of where we are at cash-wise (I had been told in January we were good through this December) and b) I see some insider buying, either on the open market or as a significant part of another financing, which I have to imagine will come eventually.

This could easily be one of those stocks that roar back from apparent death only to make people feel 3 inches tall wallowing in their own mire. There are a plethora of stocks that were sub .05 only to scream up to $3-$4. That's when everyone will think back and do 20/20 math. $2,000 / $.05 = 40,000 shares * $3 = $40,000. It's happened. Not saying that will happen here but here we are ...more

Wow, my math is bad. 40,000 shares * $3 = $120,000.
