I suspect those involved know that once they come and announce a deal is in place share price will zoom in to the .20 . . . just like that. So one side is likely saying we will issue you X shares that you should be able to shortly trade for y cents and so get the money owed to you out while the other side is saying . . ."no we will only take shares valued at "r" and so that might be 3, 4, 5 times as many shares being offered. Companies and individuals that ponied up big dollars when this deal first got going must be just on fire, expecially given GCO may never trade again if a deal is reachable.
