Great Guyana News

Great Guyana NewsWell hopefully little things like this can eliminate any country risk...

https://ncnguyana.com/ncngy/index.php/local/local-news/social-issues/1912-guyana-poised-for-extreme-rapid-growth--finance-minister-dr-ashni-singh

Finance Minister, Dr. Ashni Singh says Guyana is well poised for extreme rapid growth, given recent large scale investments. He notes that focus will be placed on sustaining and consolidating the environment that has been created over the years, and ensuring the materialization of investments that are already under way.

Investors’ interest in Guyana has been growing at an unprecedented rate, owing to the stable economic environment that the government has managed to create.

This has led to the emergence of a rapidly evolving and lucrative private sector.

Last month, three huge mining deals were signed with reputable companies, including Canada based, Sandspring Resources Incorporated and its affiliate, ETK Incorporated for a major mining operation at Poraparu, Region Seven.

Guyana goldfields and first bauxite incorporated also inked agreements for the development of the aurora mines in region seven and the vastly underexplored bauxite minerals in Bonasika, along the Essequibo River.

The finance Minister explained that with continued growth, comes all the associated benefits, which will ultimately lead to a better quality of life for citizens.
