Great job GLK - I never anticipated this turn of events!  Good move!

Yeah, I don't think anyone took him seriously.  SJL and Novocarbon are very different companies.  To start with they didn't say who their company was.  However this news is just as big, if not bigger, than when SJL announced Panasonic was purchasing their graphite anode with a 11 lb order.  The purpose of the graphite is different, one is re-engineered for anodes and the other is for graphene, but the potential is much bigger for graphene.  Panasonic was looking to start a green initiative but SJL was not going to be a major supplier for their graphite. Novocarbon has the POTENTIAL to be the major supplier for this graphene company in a market that will be growing at a much faster rate.  In other words SJL had the POTENTIAL to supply for a niche market and investors assumed it was for all their batteries.  IF this graphene company is a first mover, that means that they have figured out how to commercialize graphene to production scale.  That's a much bigger potential market - haha.  That also removes it from selling graphene at research amounts by the gram and most likely selling by the ton.

Plus SJL was more a tech company, they didn't have a secure source for their graphite.  They didn't have commercial sized facilities.  The market doesn't recognize how big the news is if SJL took off on much lesser news.  Once they finalize the off-take agreement they're in a good position with other possible contracts still pending.  The news of being a potential exclusive supplier for graphene should double the stock at these prices but I am not surprised that it didn't.  Yet.
