Disappointing? One analyst estimate was about 21cents but don't believe that was adj for last qtr's purchases. USA divisions sorta okay? Pity they did not tell us about 'competitive marketplace' in Aussieland in their other release!!! Was really weak altho no idea of amount expensed for TAO jv...yes, TAD disappointing.

I agree in may ways and the talk of events in this current  qtr (Htc, Samsung, BB phone sales, new stores including 4 already in Philippines, closed (presumably non-performing) stores, etc.,) hopefully herald GREAT, above normal Q2. The recent acquisitions make some measurements of Q! performance difficult but while b/s seems okay as at 3/31 the main thing I see in P&L is ...more

Wow, was this a sell on News day, or did the market really not like the earnings report? Anyone know who all the anaylst that follow this company? Crazy markets.lol

The earnings were terrible. Double the revenues, double the store count and the end result is the same net income as a year ago? I did expect a rise in expenses with the Target rollout but margins are shrinking and the Canadian operations are declining. Are they practically giving merchandise away? And the "competitive landscape in Australia" is another surprise. Hopefully just a one ...more
