Where do these analysts get their numbers??

You have to wonder from whence the analysts derive thier figures.  This stock has been decreasing steadily for the last 9 months - yet it is still rated as a buy or outperform with a target of $16.00 (the low end) to $18.00.  Are they employees of the company itself ?????  Mr. market certainly doesn't seem to share their optimism. 

Thoughts??

The answer is "don't know". I come back to see what is happening as GLN was a grower until it went to Aust and Philipines, where business let alone margins were not anywhere close to NA, or the likelihood of it changing apparent. The moves in the stock were too large on thin numbers and now I see the contract news repeats what we knew was BHP's commitment to lines in their Jansen ...more
