If they all sold in the high $300's/low $400's then they'd all have a nice profit...but they wanted more. Emotion shouldn't be part of a trading strategy. With that said, there is only one thing bothering me...if this is over...why are so many trading platforms still restricting purchases of these stocks? I can't reconcile that. I'm thinking the big guys still have to ...more

The market doesn’t work like that ... “if they all sold in the high $300/low $400” .... to who?   The higher the stock goes, the less leverage buyers have.  The pool of buyers always shrinks eventually, and the rubber band between real economic value and hopes and dreams is stretched so tight, it always snaps back.  Unless there is a reason to value the stock higher. It absolutely works like that. It went to a high of $483 which is why I said had they sold in the high $300's/low $400's they would have made a nice profit. Instead they were greedy. There were a LOT of people buying all the way up to $483 so my comment stands.

boomer investments are safe and boring and have low returns. Its ok to have some but Yolo plays are speculative and you should only put in what you can afford to lose. Its called wallstreetbets not wallstreetbluecapdividendstocks
