Shaw work on Ruwais RefineryThe Shaw portion of this looks like it was awarded back in '08, which would make me think it is not related, but the wording is a little curious... "In August 2008, the proprietary technology contract was awarded to Shaw Group."
The major contracts have already been awarded, so not sure if this is just coincidence or what.

The expansion project will increase the Ruwais refining capacity by 400,000 bpd.
The refinery will produce unleaded gasoline, naphtha, aviation turbine fuel, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), kerosene, gas-oil, bunker fuel and other hydrocarbon derivatives. The project will also include a cracker unit with a capacity of 127,100 bpd.
The project will be developed in 8 packages including: crude distillation and sulfur recovery facilities, a residue fluidized catalytic cracker, offsites and utilities, storage tanks, infrastructure work, marine works, and two separate packages for the site preparation works for the northern and southern areas.
Shaw Group is the refining technology provider.
