Nich- what retirement home did you pull your source from? Why don't you publish that source? First off- the Redstone of Redstone Arsenal is all one word. Been that way since Von Braun moved to Redstone from White Sands Missile Range under Operation Paperclip and built the Redstone Rocket, launched in 1953. I can't attest to any earlier than that, but Redstone was a chemical weapons depot before it became the rocketry headquarters (and also occupied by NASA)- can't find Red Stone spelling anywhere. Second- Grumman was bought by Northrup, creating Northrup Grumman in 1994. The lunar module doesn't shoot back. Irrelevant other than lift characteristics and material properties. Ask your source to name one person at the Von Braun Center that's not on a website. Bonus points if he can name someone on Wynn Drive. Hypersonic weapons are also fairly easy to intercept. Consider the case of Libra doing 240kph on that Alberta highway. If a moose steps into the road- he has two choices- hit the moose and evaporate or swerve, become aerodynamically unstable and take a tumble, essentially evaporating. If he's doing a reasonable 100kph, he has alternative choices- minor swerve under control, hit the brakes, honk the horn, or maybe the moose leaves the highway of its own accord. Much easier to avoid the moose at 100kph. Hypersonic weapons are scary only to the novice. The real scary stuff doesn't make the press. And 5% plagiarism is still plagiarism last time I was in school. And if you're interested in visiting Huntsville, I recommend going to Decatur for Gibson's- the one on Jordan shut down. Any other points you'd like to make?
