| | | | | Isabella Pearl Mine Advances Into Pearl Zone | | | | | | | | | The Isabella Pearl mine has advanced to a point where mining benches have exposed the upper level of Pearl zone alteration, revealing the ore zone to be mined over the next four plus years. Eighty percent of the gold ounces in the deposit are located in the Pearl zone.
To date, the Company has mined primarily from the lower and varying grades at the Isabella zone and only recently reached the Pearl zone mineralization which hosts approximately $300 million in gold reserves (at $1,700 per ounce gold). Initial grades in these upper Pearl benches reached 2.7 grams per tonne gold in an area the resource model estimated 1.5 grams. The life of mine average gold grade in the Pearl zone is estimated to be 4 grams per tonne.
As continued advancement of the deeper Pearl benches yield additional tonnes of high-grade gold ore, the Company targets a gold production ramp up through the third and fourth quarters of 2020. | | | |
