RE:Trading halt

RE:Trading haltAs long as there's a trading halt on GPV, it cannot be traded in Canada.  Even if you hold GP, as a US based security in a US$ account, the trading halt extends to that as well.  This is a classic case of a cross-listed security, where the underlying company's interest is almost exclusively on the US market involvement in the stock.  This thing could remain halted for a long time, sadly, even though the original issue appears to have been dealt with.  In short . . . the GPV Canadian listing is of little importance to the company.  At this point, all they need to to is something as simple as "filling out a form of compliance", and submitting it . . . who knows?  maybe they will at some point.
