RE: RE: RE: RE: To: LG
RE: RE: RE: RE: To: LGPlayer13,
The article was discussion how low metal prices have caused mine shutdowns and some of the reasons for those low metal prices. i.e. US recession. GPR was cited as an example of a company that may have to do the same because I am familiar with the workings due to following it as a shareholder. That was the intial point. Very simple.
I think the article is relevant and set above some others as it was posted prior to the North American Palladium and FNX closures. Proving my predictions to some degree that junior miners will lead the way in mine closures followed by senoirs of increasing size.
I write my blog as a hobby because I enjoy geology and the economics of mining. There is no agenda, despite what you may insinuate. Perhaps what you smell is your own rancor. In fact, I have repeatedly said that as a shareholder I would like to see GPR do well.
The debate was begun when littleguy123 said that he had issue with how I was treating Ag by comparing it to base metals, and it grew into a larger issue from there.
I understand that in debates some animosity and cutting/snide comments fly from both sides and the debate can still remain useful, which I feel the one with LG123 is as we argue the merits of each position. However, calling people "nobody", planting false accusations, belittling their efforts, and failing to address someone's points in a debate is just plain rude.
If you want to discuss how you predict metal prices and/or GPR will go that's great, but please mind you manners. Discuss things in a civil manner and I will treat you to the same degree.
