A solution for bashing and pumping!

Noticed yesterday that 2 bashers posted around 20 comments like rapid machine gun fire, and I started thinking. Stockhouse could fix this problem by making one simple change: when you ignore someone, not only do you not see their posts, but they can't see your posts, or reply to any thread you have created. This way we eliminate the problem of having a moderator banning people and leaving only pumped up cr@p. It becomes more democratic as you choose who you see and who can respond to you.
Any thoughts?

I can't imagine that this change would be hard to code into the board design.I come here to learn about companies, not to hear people make dumb predictions on either the green or red side of the fence.
