ummmm....

GFS still uses similar chemicals to a conventional Gelled Hydrocarbon frac... They just replace the base fluid with propane (instead of frac oil, or water).

The idea that they "don't use any chemicals" is completely false and misleading. They still put chemicals their gelled propane system, and thus, in the formation. Go look at any of their FracFocus disclosure files...
