100 board lots

There seems to be an unbelievable amount of trades in 100  board lot shares in this stock.
Does anyone know if this is small traders doing this, or if something else is going on?

Could be a few small traders mixed in, but the majority are algorithm trading lots used by some of the larger houses. S

Oldest trick in the book, that is still widely used today........Market makers/houses will usually put a very large seemingly insurmountable ask quantity at a specified price point, and usually this discourages people from buying because of the large number of asks. The same people will usually pick off sales underneath in small increments (ie 100 share blocks) or small enough not to raise ...more

Also large spreads. Same group trying to scare shares. Is it called manipulating? Only if we do it. Then with 5-10 minutes left in the game they let it go. Fackers.

Yes set both high and low limit.......large spread in middle, and play bounce back and forth, this makes for very profitable day trading. But hey who's complaining S

The TSX should change the bid/ask spreads to 0.10, so it makes it unprofitable for day traders. If I'm not mistaken, it used to be years ago, the spread used to be 1/8 of a dollar.
