RE:Trading todayThat $ 8 number brings back bad memories of Diamond Fields.
If I remember correctly that stock ran to $ 13 after Friedland ran a piece of core up the entire length of the hallway between the two ball rooms of the Vancouver Hotel, the venue of the mining show that year.
The stock pulled back to the $ 8.00 range and I was pondering buying some, but at the time .80 was rich for a VSE deal and Friedland was still persona non grata because of an enviromental problem on one of his previous deals so naturally I chickened out and then later Teck did a PP at $ 32 I think it was and I remember thinking, well maybe I should buy some here but at $ 32 how much upside could there be so I said forget it and I probably bought something at .30 that went to zero !
Think Diamond Fields was finally sold at $ 240 pre split, $ 4 Billion plus anayway.
So what's the moral of the story.
Don't be a chicken.
Now if you guys could take out that $ 8.80 stock I'd feel much better.
I'd help but you know I'm not good with 8's
