Great Bear Resources Ltd. is a Vancouver-based gold exploration company focused on advancing its 100% owned Dixie project in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. A significant exploration drill program is currently underway to define the mineralization within a large-scale, high-grade disseminated gold discovery made in 2019, the LP Fault. Additional exploration drilling is also in progress to expand and infill nearby high-grade gold zones, as well as to test new regional targets.

RE:RE:Why is shorting even allowed?

RE:RE:Why is shorting even allowed? Let's not forget that there are 2,092,371 warrants expiring on September 11.
These were attached to the PP which was taken down in large part by McEwan and Management and friends and no doubt some will have been shorting the stock ( let's use the term pre-selling ) as the time to expiry draws closer. When you have warrants @ $ 1.75 and the stock is trading at $ 20 it isn't unreasonable to expect some short or pre selling to lock in those massive gains.
I suspect that the short report that comes out either the week of or 2 weeks after the warrants expire will show a much smaller number of shorts as those positions are closed out by delivery of the stock.
Warrants are a great trading hedge too and I bet those guys have had a lot of fun trading over these last 2 years.
