Another point about the LowlandsThe wife of a friend of mine is from the area. The area is in relative terms in Cda, depressed in terms of jobs. Jobs are needed.
This gas development will create LOTS of jobs - well paying ones.
A quick look at news out of Pennsylvania points to the rapidly improving jobs picture there, and the benefits to ALL from this activity. Penn state is reaping large tax windfalls not only from royalties, but also from the increased income taxes a larger work force and more local business activity generates.
