RE:RE:RE:Silver Producer Looks To Expand Into Latin America.
HL acquired and developed Alexco's Keno Hill into a profitable producer in 1.25 years.
2023 Production was 1.5 million oz of silver eq and they produced 604,000 oz Q3/23 for at least 2.4 m oz Ag Eq in 2024.
The Keno mill is designed for over 4 million oz of production capacity and there is room for expansion to over 6 million oz of production within the existing facilities.
HL acquired ATAC ,which is 40 kms away from Keno Hill and is a 1.47 m oz averaging 3.3 Au g/t Carlin-style gold resource.
Hecla are expanding and consolidating advanced projects surrounding their Keno Hill mill.
Management have stated they will further consolidate their position there.
Baker is saying in interviews that the Montana assets (will be milled at Lucky Friday) permitting is at an advanced stage adding 10-15 million oz Ag Eq per year there.
While Hecla does have twenty exploration projects, some that may never be brought into production ,those projects can be monetized when metals prices are much higher.
With nearly $100 m USD cash eq position and $20m + USD cash flow { Q3/23) per quarter and 20 million oz Ag Eq production projected for 2024 at industry low AIS costs there's reason the expansion plans projected by Hecla are ongoing in North America with their sites set on diversifying and expediting expansion into Latin America.
