Home Trust is a federally regulated trust company offering residential and non-residential mortgage lending, securitization of residential mortgage products, consumer lending and credit card services. In addition, Home Trust and its wholly owned subsidiary, Home Bank offer deposits through brokers and financial planners, and through a direct-to-consumer brand, Oaken Financial. Its mortgage lending includes classic single-family residential lending, insured residential lending, residential commercial lending, and non-residential commercial lending. Its consumer lending loan portfolio comprises credit cards, lines of credit and other consumer retail loans. going to zerow with the suits in commandthe group that founded and built hcg where and are very smart very tough independent capitalists they knew what they where doing. clearly mistakes where made and the result is the current run on the bank. replacing them with rbc mba's, over priced lawyers, and other names from the clubs will not save hcg.
restoring confidence would take radical change. it would be a take over or real consolidation of the industry. it is possible such an even could occur but i think at this stage highly unlikly.
the current moves are at great cost prolonging the end.
at the moment it does seem that it is contained but they could change.
