How to destroy your BB community

How to destroy your BB communityHow to destroy your online bulletin board community!

By the people who run stockhouse!

Step 1:  Break the feature that shows the last bb posts date in everyone's portfolio watch lists.

This will disable the ability of stockholders to easily see if there are any new posts on stocks they own and like.  Making it such that the only way to do so is to go into each stock bulletin board individually, which takes too long, and thus results in a gradual dying out.

Once you have killed off most of the community, proceed to step 2;

Step 2:  Annihilate the rest by coming up with an idea like "buzz on the boards" and fill your boards with all kinds of spam that has no relation to the stock in question!  This will further irritate board viewers and should result in the finishing touch in killing off the bulletin boards.

It's so easy, even Jim Carey from dumb and dumber could do it!
