Home Capital Group Inc. is a Canada-based holding company that operates through its principal subsidiary, Home Trust Company (Home Trust). In addition, Home Trust and its wholly owned subsidiary, Home Bank offer deposits through brokers and financial planners, and through a direct-to-consumer brand, Oaken Financial. I think when they initallialy talked about reinstating the buybacks In December it was limited to 50mil from the holding company. Not from money in the bank. Or something like that.

Go back and read the press release. It was in there somewhere.

They were doing about 100k/week. ~3mil/week

~16 weeks of buying would use up that budget. I guess they used up that 50mil.

Need to wait till OSFI allows buyback/dividend hikes for the flood gates to open a bit.

I will contune nibbling along until at least then. Still a bargain.

GLTA, cept the Dhorties of course. Are there any Dhorties left? Dumb and pig-headed if they're still around.
