RE: RE: RE: SPOKE TO SCOTIA CAPITAL

RE: RE: RE: SPOKE TO SCOTIA CAPITALI agree with you. What exactly does the word "ANALYST" mean???  This is like dumb and dumber, when you hear that he does not know the relevant facts regarding the stock he is putting out a report on, if this is true and the case as stated here. I find, as previously stated, that many/most of these guys are clueless. They are not much more, in my opinion, than guys who look at the last set of financial figures released by the company, along with some sort of vague concept, if you are lucky that is, of what they, or more likely somebody else thinks is going to happen generally moving forward in the sector. Hopefully they know the current price of the stock! LOL  Usually they are SO FAR BEHIND as to be a JOKE.IMO That is why you get things like downgrades on stocks, when they have ALREADY dropped 90% or some such. It is part of the problem, and why folks have lost so much, because these analysts are more or less historical reporters, from what I see.  The ONLY reason an analyst has any value, as I see it, is if they actually are trying to look forward, with some intelligent analysis of what might happen, given a set of circumstances. Find me those willing to step out with REAL opinion, backed up by scenarios they feel likely to happen based on whatever they believe. Then I am interested. Telling me a company has this or that earnings, these ratios etc etc. means NOTHING, it is already in the price. If you call yourself an analyst, the NUMBER ONE thing folks should be asking them now: what were your last predictions going back two years. Did they get folks out of ANYTHING, did you outperform on ANY level. If not, what is your purpose, what do you offer???? With HRG:  people here change with the wind. Makes me think most here are simply trading this for a penny or two, and do not know more than this guy what is going to happen. In any case: I still say, whatever the "plan" is, if its a buyout, the price offered will be higher than it is now,IMO, or who is going to tender?
We shall see, sooner than later, I think.
