RE: Info

RE: InfoDoes anyone know the implications, if any, of this last post about new register? Does it signify a pending transaction or something?
As far as the loss in the last quarter and the poor performance of Severstal stock, which I noted earlier, it enforces, to me at least, why it would be soooooo stupid of these people to not take advantage of the public vehicle, in another currency, in a different area, which is going up, NOT DOWN. This is what I have been saying for quite some time. The Steel industry is not about to revive anytime soon, and probably not their other operations either, as I see it. OTHER than potentialy their precious metals divisions. Here, at HRG, for a relatively small amount of money, focus and effort they can get really fantastic returns, IF they play their cards right. Putting it into the fold, it will just get lost in the mess.IMO  How many times have big companies done ridiculous things, which after the fact seem crazy. Well talk to the CEO's of GM, CITI, CHRYSLER,  YAHOO and maybe Severstal, with their current situation here. If they took this by the horns and got the price moving, which is VERY possible, they could turn their 300 million plus shares into an asset worth a billion instead of 50 millon or so currently. Like to see them try and do this with Severstal shares!  We shall see, I suppose sooner than later. When you own a seperate subsidiary that rockets and its shares go up in value, you get more punch, and publicity, EVEN for your parent companys shares, than if you just fold it in and report quarterly, because in this case, as in many, any profits will get lost in the losses of the other divisions for a long while.IMO The leverage gets lost as well.
