OCG is a fair bet, but I would be careful of NZ in the long run, geology isn't as conducive to gold bearing, no where near as good as Russia, Africa and North America (Canada), with South America and asia next. Financials not that great and labour expensive (Unions), certainly doesn't have the potential of HRG. But of course it's all a matter of opinion and of course a risk, all be it a calculated one.
A really good bet I think, in a similar price range to HRG, is US Silver, trading as USA:TSXV.  The SP is ridiculously low and it is ready to take off. Have a look. It too has been the victim of poor management, but has come right lately. Now all that has to happen is for the naked shorters to be disposed of and up she'll go.
