RE: write down

RE: write downYeah, I found it also.

Man, I love how these guys operate.  That $1M they got from the sale was critical cash for HRG, right?  It was so urgent for them to aggressively go out to find a buyer for Novophirsovskoye, right?  It was a do or die situation for the company, right?  An entire $1M.  No, it couldn't wait.  It was more urgent that focusing 100% on fixing our current mines, right?  That whole $1M proceeds from sale saved the entire company, right?

Good grief.  It was so predicable.  We all knew they would do something to mask the net profits again this time (in Q3).  I had 2 guesses:

1) Write down part of the Irokinda Mine where the accident occurred.  Maybe they couldn't do that because of the ongoing investigation.  By the way, to be clear, I am not saying that they were actually thinking this.  I'm just saying.....

2)  Write down of Novophirsovskoye and other exploration properties.

That is sad when we can figure out their every move down to these specific details long before they even occur.  Yet, none of the authorities appear to have any issues with any of this.  That is real sad.
