If you have any doubt about Russia READ THIS...x6dYes folks doesn't this NEWS STORY just say it  ALL about a couple of issues. So reas it ALL to pick up on the most interesting thing, that is the FACT that this guy who died at 37 in jail from guess what (Heart Attack, oh ya you bet!!)  was in jail AFTER he challenged large companies for you will NEVER GUESS, TREATMENT OF MINORITY SHAREHOLDERS. I tell you, it does not get any worse than this. RUSSIA IS A F'N JOKE - CAN you relate in particular about the minority shareholder issue in this story??? Really think about this story and ask WHO ARE WE DEALING WITH!!! And then think about this poor guy, who was charged with what after challenging guess who? Guess: tax evasion!!!!!  Seriously folks, these guys are the WORST, WORST, WORST.
As well what is not here but almost amusing in context is this: Russia announced TODAY that their inbound investment from foriegn sources has dropped big time of late. OH GEE I wonder why? Who wants to invest with these people, when there are so MANY better places, better choices and ALL more honest and less criminal.IMO

MOSCOW, Nov 17 (Reuters) - A lawyer who advised Hermitage,once Russia's biggest investment fund, has died in custody amida row between the fund's co-founder Bill Browder and the Russianauthorities over alleged tax frauds.

Sergei Magnitsky, 37, who advised Hermitage while at lawfirm Firestone Duncan, died of heart failure on Monday, Russia'sProsecutor-General's main investigative unit said on Tuesday.

Magnitsky was arrested in 2008 after Interior Ministry taxpolice raided the law firm's offices as part of an inquiry intoHermitage's alleged tax evasion. He was charged with conspiracybut his case had not come to trial.

Browder fell out with Russian authorities after publiclyberating large companies over their treatment of minorityshareholders and was barred entry to Russia in 2005 on nationalsecurity grounds. Hermitage subsequently disposed of all of itsRussian holdings.
