Not Germane to the article ??.Outcomes of these kinds of investment activities are indeed important to address.Also, let's not be naive.This Guinea issue is no-doubt for local/political appearances etc etc.Do you really think Endeavour in making an investment along with Severstal in CRU ( working in cooperation with Severstal ??) has not received assurances from Guinea prior to making these strategic moves.Who said someone was seeking control of just CRU.We're hearing about a likely consolidation of companies to create a mid tier 500,000 plus ounce producer in West Africa.
Related, more than one entity has been trying ( with offers) to get their hands on HRG's Taparko.And don't forget HRG's growing Bissa deposit which we seldom hear anything about.Now there's value.
