RE: Severstal Maybe Severstaal is going to use HRG as a piggy bank and issue a special dividend to generate some cash to spend on Crew.
They realize they're not going to steal HRG from the rest of the shareholders.........but they can use the cash flow to steal Crew from their minority shareholders.
It wouldn't be the smartest thing to do, but if there was a news release right about the time the 09 financials were out........indicating HRG was paying out a special dividend to shareholders (maybe 5 cents).....it wouldn't suprise me in the least.
The minority shareholders wouldn't kick up too much fuss I think.......for some of us.....5 cents a share is half our capital cost.
Like I said........I don't think it's in the best interest of the long term minority shareholders......but it is a plausible scenario.
