RE: RE: based on Severstal Gold value, HRG should
Hi Discern,

Actually, the fact that there is not much more to tell about behind the scenes  is good news. As Severstal has made their intentions more public (assuming their statements can be believed), it seems their interests and ours are becoming more aligned. If they want to hit the market right for a Gold IPO and fully capitalize on their  soon to be 70% shareholding in HRG, they have run out of time fighting minority. That is how it apprears on surface. Also,we  minority made it very clear that if they continued, there would be legal action, so that also probably factored into their potentially new strategy.

They are busy with a fight for Crew Gold showing they are still looking to buy good assets on the cheap. I am not sure they will win that fight, but  If they acquire some other assets at cheap prices, it could be beneficial to us if  one day  they propose to swap our shares for Severstal Gold shares at  fair value.
