RE: re share swap

RE: re share swap

Why is everyone so opposed to a share swap? Nord has Severstal backing them. They don't NEED our shares. They can wait this game out as long as they need to. What if they decide to wait another 2 years before making an offer? Will you be more likely to take said swap at that point or will you have sold for far less than fair value and moved on?

For me, i want the biggest return on my money as quick as possible. If Nord offers me a fair swap at say 3:1 today. I would likely take it provided there is a TSX co-listing. Once i have Nord shares and their float is increased, Nord is going to do everything in its power to increase its value as quick as possible to be sold. What do i care if i own HRG shares or Nord shares at this point? HRG has sucked for over a year now. I would be happy to have shares of a company where the price is increasing. I would actually love to have Nord shares right now while they are beat up and sitting low. Even with a conservative price projection of $9+ i would be happy to exit that stock and move on to a different investment.

I for one am tired of waiting. As i said before, this past year has been a waste of time having money tied up in HRG and now i would like things to progress so i dont spend another year making no money on HRG. I say bring on the offers.
