Severstal CALLED ME!!!

Kingsdale Shareholder Services is calling HRG Minority Shareholders to ask them if they will tender their shares for 22 cents.  She said it represented an 80% improvement to the low point and was 30% more than the avg price over the past X days.

They asked if I would tender and if so, "call your broker to get it done".

I asked who was paying for their service, and they said Severstal. 

I said No. Obviously. 

I asked if she knew that Severstal was a Russian company taking advantage of stupid people who didn't know their shares were actually worth ten times more. 

I also told her that fortunately, the offer would fail.

Severstal contracted Reps are calling all minority shareholders as you say.Stand firm and be clear on your NO vote.Don't get drawn in on the great .22c offer as they argue based on their simplistic ( non value analysis) share price moving average approach.This is a red herring.Most company share prices have been devastated by the severe economic conditions over the past yr and

I was called as well got the rep to become speechless..  Almost got the rep himself to believe the offer was unjust!  Quite an interesting 10 minutes!This just strengthens my resolve!

I had a rep call me from Kingsway as well today.  She left a message and call me back about the offer.  When I called her, she was scrambling to find her script.  I told her I knew all about the offer already and had no interest in tendering at Severstal's insultingly low price.It was funny I thought she sounded almost accustomed to that response, which can only be good for us
