Resignation

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 1, 2009) - High River Gold Mines Ltd. (TSX:HRG) ("High River" or the "Company") would like to announce that Driffield Cameron has tendered his resignation from the position of Vice-President Exploration, effective August 31, 2009, to pursue other business interests.

Very curious as to what kind of knowledge of Severstals shenanigans He has, perhaps his salary could not compare to what he believes He can make by loading up on HRG shares, and does not want them watching over his shoulder!!!! I assume the trading block is over since Mr. Poad is buying again.

Looks like he was made to walk the plank since they already havehis replacement in the chair. Veniamin Baltsat, General Director of OJSC Buryatzoloto and Severstal tightens it's grip!

Googled Him and apparently Buryatzoloto is listed as a HRG subsidiary? The plot thickens! Wonder if this was our mystery buyer responsible for driving stock price up.

Don't read too much into resignation. Hear HRG / Severstal is scaling way back it's office in TO. Guess who needs an HRG exploration head with Severstal as prime resource back-up and decision maker. Canadian office will only likely be comprised of a legal presence. All in all, probably a wise and long overdue move to rationalize all that costly overhead. They will ...more
