Anyone know how negotiations are going?

I emailed Yuriy Humber who is a reporter in Moscow who has run a couple articles about High River Gold for Bloomberg.  I asked him if he knew of any knew developments, because he seemed more knowledgable about the saga and closer to the action than anyone else.  He has heard nothing, he was going to check in.  He did tell me this:

"As far as I know, the rebel shareholders are now trying to establish some kind of contact with Severstal and see if they have any common points of interest."

Can anyone confirm if there are in fact negotiations going on?  Anyone know how these talks are going?  Based on our share prices slowly going down while gold is almost setting record prices, HRG is on very few goldbug's radar.  With just a bit of good promotion, this stock could soar.

To be fair Yuriy seemed to be fairly balanced in his reporting.  I was actually surprised he called the other companies "rebels".  Perhaps something lost in the translation?
