Board is maturing

We all know this is worth much more.  I would actually like to see us pull back to the low 50's again.  Might happen on manipulation.  Who knows.

Maybe Severstal has finally realized that it will be impossible to drive minority shareholders out of their shares for cheap. Severstal and their shrude buddies at Troika are all set for making a killing on their investment. That's how Russians operate, Go Big or Go Home. In my opinion, they will squeeze every penny out of HRG market value, which is much higher from current levels ...more

50 cents ummm maybe. Some profit taking and short selling could happen soon soon since the thing is going exponential. Not sustainable. Hardly ever is.

HRG is so undervalued only because of management.  Over the past year, I have never seen the price go down from market manipulation and short selling.  The only reason has been negative press releases.HRG is often one of the most watched companies on this board due to the drama over the last year.  If the price continues to go up, those sitting on the side line will enter.  ...more

I totally agree this company has value. But I don't like their debt situation still. The last placement added 150M shares at .38/sh to the float with only $57M in new cash. Only $27M of which will be used to reduce debt. Leaving well over $130M in debt. Polenica got a sweet deal. Not so sure the rest of us did though. This stock is trading on high hopes right now. IMO, it has no ...more

muhahaha please factory, cut the crapif you read the analysis of CCharlwood and some of the analyst reports then you would KNOW there is no debt issue no more!I can only say, everything is about cash flow stupid...Sorry if this post makes the board look less mature :-)Bart

I do my own DD and don't rely on anyone else's facts, calculations, or opinions. My DD says they still have over $130M in debt. And more like $160M if you count future income taxes and restorations. All of which do eventually have to be paid.

it would be smart to look at facts that are available. You would not make such bad calculations. We used to have detailed calculations here which people can read and agree with or not.If you just state that "your calculations" come with a "certain" number than I am not interested in your info untill you post detailed calculations.

I've checked my calculations and they are correct. Nothing wrong with buying at 70 cents if you are a long term investor. Even if drops to 50 cents it should go back over 70 cents in 1-3 months.

Do you have any idea how much cashflow is coming out of operations at the moment with gold above 1,100But oh well, not gonna put more time in these posts...I hope you can buy in some lower after the slightly negative comments because that's what you're obviously trying.Good luck!

I understand they have good cash flow. That still doesn't make all their debt go away. Do you understand that production costs also continue to go up as gold goes up? Almost as much as gold itself. So while the top line climbs the bottom line doesn't climb by the same percentage. IMO, this one is now ahead of itself and trading above fundamentals. But what do I know? Do your own DD.

Leverage is not a bad thing and can actually increase shareholder value.  Return on equity (ROE) is the return paid to equity holders for accepting the risk of the firm.  It can be broken down into 3 components: net margin x asset turnover x financial leverage.  If  any of these components increase, return on equity will increase.  So as leverage increases (debt), the firm ...more
