Silver lake Most of this news report comes directly from the last Silver lake quarterly activities report.It doesnt mention the 150-200 million Canadian tax loss carry forward which accrues to SVL.Pretty obvious that the mine was in poor shape with antiquated equipment and mill.SVL has saved a lot of jobs.SVL has high cash flow from its three other mines so this is all funded out of cash flow, Which continues to be positive .There are several other developing mines in a similar situation to Harte which need a "white knight" to rescue them ,Ascot and Pure gold come to mind ,there are a lot more I am sure as its very difficult in this environment to bring a mine on stream.How this comes out over the next 3-5 years will depend upon the POG and exploration success.The nickname of the CEO of SVL is "cool hand Luke".
