Well we will see who is right .The price paid for the Harte mine was exceptionally good .Silver lake has the resources and expertise .The mine is in elephant country .It has been my general experience that sour grapes make for poor wine and profits .

Of course the price was exceptionally good.The big dogs got their share out of the deal but not so the shareholders.I think there was little interest in this mine for good reason.Even at fire sale prices no one was interested.Why? It's going to be a hard go for Silver Lake.The bottomless money pit.Costs of everything are rising substantially.Even though the price of gold is rising production ...more

I've heard that equipment and workers are still a problem. They got rid of Dumas  misfits, and are using more Manroc guys. Scoop availability has been laughable.  Also hear new owners spending $20 million on new automated Sandvik equipment.

Maybe the camp is hooked up to hydro by now , with the increasing cost of diesel to run the generator . Have a look at Sandvik videos , and their automated electric equipment that needs less ventilation and can be used between shifts from surface.
