The price action of the last few days makes you realize how unknown and illiquid this name is. While it can certainly create some volatility in the absence of news, it will also help the stock move upwards very fast if they report good results. Additionally, for the same reason, I would be very comfortable buying right after the announcement regardless of how much the stock is up on that day, as it will take months for the stock to be fairly priced again.
