Hot Brands acquires brand named, distressed restaurant, hospitality and entertainment operations, and builds them into a portfolio of businesses that generate recurring cash flow, with a return on investment that exceeds the industry multiple.
Hot Brands acquired the Hot ‘n Now chain of restaurants from private investor Ron Davis (who purchased the chain from the Taco Bell Corporation). At the end of 2002, system-wide gross sales for the Hot ‘n Now chain were approximately $25 million annually.
Hot Brands announced that it signed a letter of intent with Paragon Steakhouse Partners, Inc., to acquire select assets of 10 Paragon Steakhouse locations – which, in part, include leasehold interests and liquor licenses - located in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and California.
