Stupid question. Hut doesn't qualify for nasdaq for another few weeks. Picking at problems that don't exist bc your uneducated is the real problem...

What bothers investors is she won't even say they are trying to get on a US listing. Saying they are attempting to get on a US won't effect their application. HIVE just put out statement today stating their status on a US listing. That's good investor relation.

I guess but that is not what this previous user said. Where is the listing is different from why aren't we talking about it. Maybe she doesn't want to count her chickens before they hatch. And look, hive talking about possibly listing didn't help their share price, so who cares. Speculating doesn't serve much purpose. The current facts is what really counts.

btw what did you mean by saying Hut won't qualify for a NASDAQ listing for a few week?
Comment by AlphaJ on Mar 16, 2021 7:31pm
Great question. I don't know all the details. But the only requirement ALL the big canadian crypto stocks are currently missing, is to hold a share price of 4 USD per share for a minimum of three months. So HUT is close. I think a few weeks away from that requirement. It's is possible to meet the requirements under 4 USD but I think their are addition requirements which I'm not all ...more

sorry, my fat fingers struggle on these phone keyboards. *There are additional requirements under $4 USD*

I check the price history of Hut 8 $4 US is around $5 CND. So Hut hit $5 on Feb 5, 2021. If it's 3 months then that will take us to the end of April.

Perfect, thanks. So another 6 weeks to qualify and plus, another 90 day approval process. So still 4.5 months is the earliest opportunity for HUT to be on the NASDAQ.

Can Hut 8 buy a company that is already listed on the NASDAQ to get its listing? Maybe that's what the 500 ml is for and it would explain the secrecy. Either 1) they are on the market looking for a company to buy 2) Found a company and is in negotiations

honestly, I don't know bro. They filed it with the SEC! Maybe they are just getting taking preliminary steps. I know the basics. Only a hard core finacial experts will know potential outcomes come from these types of filings. Or spend a few hours doing some deep research. Wish I had the time to learn everything!!!!

Nasdaq has requirements re regular bid peice, number of market makers etc but none of these are as inflexible as requirements re revenue, assets etc. Follow some IPOs and you'll know that. Cheers
