Amazon will not deliver POT, period, it is a controlled substance, they wont touch it with a 10 foot pole, and even if they wanted to, they would have to have a licence for every juristiction, see them selling booze yet? No, bet those who think Amazon will sell this never looked at that. Get yer heads out of yer butts please. On line sales will go to those who offer it quickly, locally, and have the licence to do so in the juristiction they are playing in, game set match, end of Amazon being your local dealer. That means Fire and Flower, Inner, CHOO, META in Canada, pick one, any one, customers will go to their favs, always have, always will. Believe it or not, room for them all.
US will legalize this shortly, so travel here won't be a problem, lets get over this virus thing first hey? National legalization may even become an election issue, All governments will need the revenue and vices will still be the go to, besides, they have to replace tobacco taxes. As to issues with management, recommend if that is the case look to other retailers to make your investments, never invest with a company where you believe management is crooked, good practice. Cudjo, just for refference I didnt mean Amazon would be selling weed. Thats crazy talk. I meant in more in relation to the example of 'peoples lazyness' in that they'd rather order it from their couch than head off to a store.
Currently we have 'click and collect' set up so that you can place your order and pick it up at the store once its ready. We do not offer delivery.
I've seen many a 'delivery' company fail looking at the US market, and many of those companies moving away from offering that. So I would have to assume its tough to make a margin on the delivery side. That being said I think we would have to look at a JV or agreement with an emerging company strictly focused on delivery. And to be honest I havnt seen one company in Canada offer that yet for 'recreational'. As I mentioned, many of the medical players are doing this, I would have to think they would offer it to the rec users if it was permittable, so its likely not allowed just yet. Could be wrong though.
I know 3sixty solutions handles bulk shipments from LP's in both Canada and the US, I could see them expanding to offer this service.
And Hippie... I know engaging with you is fruitless. But I just HAAAAAVE to address the one point you made... You think delivery drivers are really going to pop the seal on an order to 'take' half of it and replace it with tobacco? LOL my goodness fella. You know... I just hate getting half my pizza along with half an avocado in the box... SOB's...
