Stock manipulation

IPA has about 20 million shares outstanding.
On nasdaq so far todat there has been  100 million shares traded with 526 000 trades !,,,
The  computers have taken over .
Ridiculous !

If you wat to see how computer trading on the tsxv has totally destroyed all credibility for the small investor, just looki at IPA trading in the last two days. Welcome to the tsx v casino.

It's a total casino. I got a call from my brokerage yesterday, warning me not to bid so high on a particular stock, as they thought it gave the appearance of trying to raise the price. When I gave examples of how the price rises and falls based on computer trading and short selling, he had no response. i gave some bidding and selling scenarios, which are entirely valid, and again, no response. ...more

In this case it is not Casino, its planned by the people behind it . Look to a chart and look at the spike the day of a press release , each time the stock fell considerably the day or the day after. I ve been caught enough times to learn my lesson. Altough i like what the company is doing there is gap between the science and the crypto type volatility of that stock.

The venture, imo, is a casino. Nonetheless, there are some very good companies on the venture. It's a venue that attracts a lot of day trading. Why not? We'll see if IPA is one of those very good companies. Personally, I think their technology sounds plausible, and there's some good potential here. Valuation is really hard to pin down, and the price varies wildly from minute to minute ...more
