They bought out another company. For a short time there was overlapping jobs, JUST LIKE IT HAPPENS WHEN ANY COMPANY BUYS ANOTHER.

So now they cut the staff, moved some around and the synergies and savings will now be realized.

It's not easy merging companies together. But you wouldn't know that because you haven't worked a day in your life.
