iSee3D names Debono, others to board2011-10-05 08:52 ET - News ReleaseMr. Tom Mitchell reportsISEE3D CORPORATE UPDATEFollowing completion of the iSee3D Inc.'s annual shareholder meeting on Sept. 27, 2011, the following persons have joined the board of iSee3D: David Debono, Terry Debono, Nathan Pollak and Don Stevenson. Their appointments are subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.Terry Debono has been involved as a senior executive in the entertainment industry for over 30 years. Terry Debono's major focus today is as a consultant to governments, regulators, charities, and media and telecommunication groups involved in the finance, operation, distribution, regulation and commercialization of gaming and entertainment industries.David Debono is an experienced senior executive and accomplished serial entrepreneur. He has led, founded, acquired and successfully sold a large number of technology related businesses over the past 25 years, including the Saskatchewan Communications Network, ElectricImages Studio Centre, and Arcca Animation. He has also taught as a sessional professor in strategic management and strategic management of technology at the University of Windsor.Mr. Pollak is a seasoned veteran of the real estate investment and redevelopment industry. Over the past 28 years he has invested in, acquired and redeveloped commercial and industrial properties with tremendous success. He has had the opportunity to work in fields as varied as hospital institutions, telecommunications and entertainment with companies such as Ubisoft Entertainment and Discovery Channel.Mr. Stevenson has been in the investment industry since 1967 until last year when he retired from the business. He worked as a retail broker, as an institutional salesman and trader, in the corporate finance area and has held numerous senior executive management positions throughout his career. Mr. Stevenson's area of interest has always been working with small- and mid-cap companies.The new directors succeed Karna Gupta, Jolyon Burton and Nathaly Vermette, who have recently stepped down from the board."We would like to thank Karna, Jolyon and Nathaly for their dedication and service during their time on the board," said Tom Mitchell, chairman of the board and interim chief executive officer. "We are extremely pleased to welcome our new directors, who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to iSee3D. Elected a bunch of John Does that No one has ever heard of  ? Why did the lawyer , the Investment banker and Gupta Leave ( only credible guy )....they didin't like what they saw ?Who cares about single lens while the two lens system is accepted and is currently generating revenues for JVC, Sony and Panasonic ?Wonder what Discovery and UBI soft will think when they get a copy of this ...more
