They've managed to survive a few catastrophic episodes of technological and economic implosions.  If they were not a company with ideas and determination, with the ability to adapt and find new avenues, they would have disappeared in 2001... or bought out the previous year by another company that would have vanished.
What attracted me to this company was their involvement in the notion of technological "convergence".  Convergence has not taken-off like many expected.  At least not in its original conception.  But neither has the internet, as is why the dot.com bust happened.  I know many will say it was the result of irresponsible and unsubstantiated ideas supported by the big companies and a naive public.  But we were being fed the idea that the internet was going to have a much more profound impact on our daily lives than it already had.  The only true difference is that more people are utilising it, not that it has developed a more integrated existence in our lives.
Anyway, before I get lost even more, what I'm trying to say is ICS has done a great job surviving and develping new ideas, and that we all know that not always the best technology moves forward.  Give them a chance, or sell your stock and stop posting.  Also, it has been good to see new posters over the last year.
