The actual trading volume can be deceiving, example, this past thursday, Jan - 21st, the volume was 29,475 which would be a good trading day if compared to the historic trading volume since the SP consolidation. But when you look at the actual trades, 26,500 of the 29,475 volume seemed to have moved sideways, switching the shares from one account to another. The 26,500 shares were traded in unison from brokerage 74 to 39, if that is the case, thursday's volume is only 2,975 and if one looks back and analyses the daily volumes, those type of trading volume days are not uncommon.

Then again, this could just be me imagining things and giving credence to my deep suspicions about how the ITC shares trade. My conspiracy theory since the SP consolidation has long been that there are forces out there contolling this SP and that it will only move whenever the convenient and appropriate time comes for them!!!!
