RE:2016 annual income of.....I think investors are content with the top line but not the EPS. They were comping a outsized Q4/15 so showing growth i would say the revenue line was good this quarter. What I think is not well understood is that this company has material growth in front of them and they were spending in the quarter to further grow the company - and as a result the positive EPS was not as big as some hoped for. So I'm not surprised after the attractive EPS through the first 3 quarters that the Q4 was seen as disappointing. But this is a byproduct of achieving even better future results.
Fast forward to the outlook. Nothing changed. Big growth through more contracts that we've all seen announced and the margin profile improves with the expenses to facilitate having been incurred. Still in the sweet spot of the IOT growth engine. Still overcapitalized with way too much cash - they will need to address this year as per the call.
This is a small cap and is poised to fluctuate - but the business outlook is as solid as ever and these fluctuations both ways create opportunity.
