Nothing in my US Account for the moment ...but in my Canadian account all share are converted into ( IVTF ) American shares

And they won't. If yours is similar to my platform then you have cash, TFSA, RRSP and US accounts available, and you could trade any exchange within those accounts (CSE, TSX-V, TSX, NYSE, etc etc). The only difference (other than the obvious RRSP and TFSA implications) is that if you trade within the US account then all funds remain in US currency, but if you trade a US market ...more
